More improvements

Here are some more improvements that I have made to my final products. Like before, the only factor I have changed is the font.

Improvements after Evaluation

These are some improvements I have done on my products since reading my evaluation and the feedback. The main thing I have changed on the front cover is the font. I have changed it completely and gone for a different idea. From my research, i have found that some magazines use a font that looks like it has been writen on a typewriter so I decided to choose a font that had a similar effect. I also changed the amount of text on the front cover. The only thing I changed on my contents page was the font. However, I changed quite a bit on my double page spread. I have taken away the black line I put down the middle and extended the title so both pages link together. As well as changing the font I also moved the album cover across.

Final Front Cover

Final Contents Page

This is my final contents page. I have made some rather large changes to my product.
Firstly, I decided not to go with having loads of small images around the text, but having one large one instead. I really like the contents pagee because I couldnt make up my mind about having one of my mock ups or this one. So I decided to put them both together. I used the same image i used on the previous mock up and put it onto this one. I used the same effect by layering the images over eachother and making them darker the further away they are from the text.
Secondly, I decided that the image underneath the text looked too plain, so I put a small boder around it to make it stand out and bold. These are the only changes I made to my contents page.

Final Double Page Spread

This is my final double page spread. I have filled the text boxes up with an interview. I have also added a pull quote underneath the text to make the most important part of the interview stand out. Once I had done these changes, I thought the small amount of text on the right hand side of the page looked boring so I put a small arrow around it. It was an idea that I had early on. These are the only major changes I made to my double page spread.

Final Mock Up Contents Page

This is my final mock up for my contents page. Of course I wont use images of real celebrities but I have just put them on as a guidline. I have chosen this design because I enjoyed making it and Ithink it looks quite proffessional.
